We spent Christmas this year with Joel's side of the family. It was a lot of fun. I, of course, missed my family. But, that is the bitter sweetness of living so far away from everyone. We had a blast. Two days were spent skiing and one was spent unwrapping and playing with toys. It really was a great Christmas. Joel spoiled me with a gift card for a massage, some cozy socks, and a printer. Chase got a lot of presents form everyone except Joel and I. Our present is coming later this year in the form of a backyard, play area, outdoor toys. I have a feeling he will use it a ton. ;)
On the subject of skiing. I had a lot of fun...but man I need to get over the whole fear. Or maybe I just need to go more than once every ten years. And yes, I nerded it up and wore a helmet. It kept my head warm!
