Chase Eating Meat

First, a picture of the big boy standing. He pulls himself up now! But, he can't sit up on his own. So we are safe for a couple more weeks.

I think we have a vegetarian on our hands, much to Joel and I's surprise. Below first picture Chase after eating a vegetable medley. The following pics are of him "exploding" after trying chicken for the first time.

Chase "Crawling"

Chase isn't crawling yet. I know we should be counting our lucky stars. BUT, especially on your first child, you often wonder if you are doing something wrong and holding them back somehow. I know we aren't, but there is always that lingering doubt. I'm excited for him to start crawling and walking. I'm ready. :)

So here are the pics of Chase figuring it all out.

This picture is sooo bad. But, it shows his number one move right now. He pushes on his feet and nose dives. I have a good video of it. It's just a little choppy (it's taken with our camera).

Fourth of July and Our Garden

The one and only fourth of July picture. The miracle of having all three kids sleep. :)

The coolest flower ever! Joel took this pic. It is called a Japanese Box Plant. And is pretty indestructible. It blooms out in a puffed up box and then opens up.

And finally our garden has started to mass produce. I don't check on the garden. It really is more Joel's garden than a family garden. Anyways, these zucchinis went unnoticed for awhile. Joel is behind Chase, just in case you were worried.
